Celeste Broussard

Celeste Broussard joined the Law Office of David Benoit in 2006. She has been in the legal field since 2000, serving as a paralegal and legal secretary for law firms in the Lafayette area. She has also worked as an assistant in the Victim’s Assistance Division of the St. Martin Parish D.A.’s Office.

Celeste prepares client’s claims and requests necessary documents and records. She works closely with David Benoit and assists him with the drafting of pleadings and preparing cases for mediations and trials.

Celeste was raised in Parks and graduated from Breaux Bridge High School. She lives in Breaux Bridge with her husband, Jody, two daughters, Kiley and Katelyn, and step-daughter, Mia. The girls keep her and her husband busy with schoolwork and extracurricular activities.She also enjoys the occasional weekend getaway.

JACKIE BENOIT

Jackie Benoit has served as the office manager and bookkeeper at the practice since its founding in 1990. Born and raised in New Orleans, she is a graduate of East Jefferson High School. She started her first business with David in 1979, working as residential painting contractors in New Orleans. She continued to run the business while David worked his way through law school. Once the Law Office of David Benoit was formed, Jackie put her business expertise to work to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Jackie’s hobbies include charitable endeavors dealing with orphaned animals. She is also an avid gardener and accomplished cook.

WENDI GEORGE

Wendi George is a paralegal for the Law Office of David Benoit.

Wendi manages each client’s file with great care. She has a talent for drafting, managing, and preparing necessary records. She is also responsible for scheduling appointments and works closely with David Benoit while assisting in the preparation of cases.

She attended Cecilia Senior High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Wendi began her career managing several local hospitality businesses before deciding to expand her customer service expertise with paralegal training.

She grew up in the Acadiana area and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. She is an avid reader and gardener and enjoys the sub-tropic environment of south Louisiana almost as much as the people and food.
